Here we are. Happy family. I love that Mike was home so we could ALL be in the picture together. Do you notice a commend trend in this picture? Everyone is looking at the camera and everyone looks fabulous. Maybe the background isnt nice...well, no, it is nice. This picture was taken in our home. I love our house. I feel so safe within these walls and hope that never changes.
Halloween was such a fun time for us this year. Mike was nice enough to stay at home and hand out candy so that we could go out with the kids. Parks was a fireman and Navy was a banana. How cute are they. We practiced a little before we went out about what would happen at the door. At most doors Parks gave out a quiet...'trick or treat' after i whispered it into his ear. Don't you love how kids mimic everything you do! speaking of mimicking. The other day Parks came and got Chris sunglasses out of the drawer. But there was a problem, they wouldn't quite stay on his head...so then he needed his glasses. So i looked around briefly for them and then he told me they were in the garage....ummm, okay. I kept thinking how would he know where they are we haven't seen them for weeks. But sure enough they were in the garage and i was thoroughly impressed with his memory. there they were out in the garage in the stroller. So Parks got his sunglasses that look just like daddy's and then he neede a wallet...just like daddy's. So we put his wallet in his pocket....just like daddy's.
Halloween this year was on a Sunday, so many of the surrounding towns choose to have their halloween on saturday. So in return we got alot of the LDS families coming out to raymond to trick or treat. We got about 350 kids to our door, and ran out of candy just before 800. I figure we had to turn away about fifty more kids. how crazy was that. most of them i did not know!
It took Parks about 40 minutes to do one culdesac.....he refused to get in the stroller or have anyone hurry him along. He was totally in the zone!
How awesome are these pumpkins! Okay, I think they are awesome because I didnt have to do much, chris took over in the artistic area and made these pumpkins awesome
we enjoyed roasting the seeds and eating them... all night Parks kept on asking for more 'seeds'. when he was done with his giant mouthful he spit them out all over the couch..ha
I found a banana costume for Navy at superstore. It was such a hit! she was all bundled up and the cutest banana you ever saw! She is getting so old on me. She is almost sitting up by herself and is really communicating well. Every morning she looks and me and gives me a big smile! I hope she keeps on giving me those big smiles! I can t put into words what that little girl means to me!
Happy Halloween!
