i think he likes me.......

okay, so i am totally guilty being the wife that on valentines day says..."lets not do anything" or "you don't have to do anything for me". when i say these phrases it is really a do or die scenario. what i really mean is....."you better do something for me". im a typical girl that will take what she is given, but usually drops a few hints and in the end has a BIG hand in what is given. i think i might be spoiled. but that is completely another topic.
So of course, right around the first part of feb i start.

Marisa-"honey, lets just watch tv for valentines, its such a stupid holiday".
Chris- "okay, sounds good to me"

five days later...
Marisa- "so. like, what are we going to do for valentines. maybe i will make a yummy supper"
Chris- yeah, sounds good to me"

three days before valentines day...
Marisa- so, i don't want to just stay at home. i make supper every night. so, YOU really dont want to do anything on valentines. i don't want to plan valentines, YOU are supposed to do that, you know, to show that you love me"
Chris- "i mean, if you want to do something we can, but YOU said you didn't want to do anything"
Marisa- "AGHHHH"

Well, we all know where that conversation ended up...........silence..ha
later chris told me he was so mad, because he had this night planned and i was ruining it!ha

When valentines day rolled around i could not have asked for a better night! after he was done work he came and picked me up. i had been asking him to go over and see the progress on the house that we are building. So, off we went to see the house. i don't know if you remember but it was quite cold on valentines and i was freezing when i went into the house. the master bedroom was being dry walled so he told me to go and look in there so i could get an idea of what it would look like with drywall on. and wouldn't you know it, there was a party planned in my closet!

Chris cut up all of these hearts for me.... there were 96..i have never had a candle lit dinner in a closet before. oh, chris had the heater going for several hours so the room was a good temp.
lovely flowers.....lindor chocolates...my fav! i just love my closet!
Christopher, made some yummy chicken wrapped in goodness...aka, bacon! served with asparagus... he doesn't like it but he knows i love it!

the flash made the bacon look raw in this pic.... but i assure you it was cooked to perfection!
oh, and thanks to Yvonne for babysitting Parks so we could have a bit of time to our selves!

OH I LOVE IT! So cute... I ruin things that way too. Like when Jeff and I decided that for christmas we were just going to do something small for eachother since we had to get so many other gifts which kind of bummed me out but I listened and got something small. So I snooped under the tree in the morning and couldn't find ANYTHING from jeff to me, so the whole time I was dropping hints to Jeff that I knew there wasn't a present for me and he might want to run to target quickly (i'm horrible i know, but it was kind of funny)..... and then at the end he sent me on a scavenger hunt and I found a snowboard.. what the fetch. We love our men!! How fun to have dinner in your NEW closet. I can't wait to see your house! Put up more pics please! Long comment, yup.

that's freakin (can I use the word freakin on your blog?) ridiculous - in a fabulous way! I tried to be subtle in the way I brought up your lovely valentine's day to Tyler. It went like this:
"Hey Tyler. Can you believe what Chris did for Marisa for Valentine's Day?!"
Can't be more subtle than that.
P.S. Your closet is huge - you guys must really have a lot of clothes!
