so a while back there were some posts about the 'bad mom' in us. this time i decided to write down reasons why i could possible be the most wonderful, competent, put together mom around..
Well. wish me luck!
1. i let Parks play with finger paints (body paint) and i didn't even complain about clean up
2. i let him get into the flour... he loves it.
3. we played in leaves
4. i let him unload the dishwasher even though he pulled it right out of the island. oh by the way, dont let your kids stand on the dishwasher door, i guess they pull right out of the wall.
5. we played in the mud. he loved EVERY second of it.
6. i let him cook with me.
7. i let him turn my washing machine and dryer on and off, on and off..... on and off.
8. i let him stain ALL of my clothes with those cute little hands.
9. i give him the last bite.... so hard for me!
10. i read to him... if he will listen... and sit.
11. i hold him up to the microwave so he can push the buttons. i have now learned if you do something once you have to keep doing it....sigh
Parks has been doing the cutest things lately i need to write them down so i don't forget...
25 Things About Parks....at 15 Months
1.he says mom, mommy or mama for EVERYTHING
2. he makes the funniest sound when he wants a drink... i wish you could hear it. but to get the point across he raddles his tongue until he has SPRAYED everyone
3. he tries to pull all of the clothes off of the hangers, and hides in the clothes.
4. he turns on the bath tub water so the pressure and heat changes....while im showering
5. he can say 'basketball' it sounds sooo cute. he throws anything and everything that is throwable...or not throwable
6. he loves peas.
7. he can eat his yogurt with a spoon, he does really well with a spoon.
8. he runs away when i say 'night night' or try to put clothes on him
9. he will carry his diaper all the way up the stairs to put in the garbage, or he will just lug the diaper around with him all day. gross i know.
10. he wants to go down stairs like a big boy.scary.
11. he stands on the stairs and turns the lights and fans on and off, dangerous, but cute. he has almost fallen down on multiple occasions.
12. he has mastered turning the tv on and muting it at the perfect time
13. cries when his daddy leaves the room
14. brushes his teeth like a champion
15. loves to be under the covers and roll in our duvet
16. sleeps through the night!
17. is obsessed with the humidifier. he lugs the jug around all day. oh, and i should mention we are on our second humidifier...
18. he wrecked my phone so i cant get to any of my contacts....grrr
19. is a horrible shopper, in any setting.
20. when asked what santa says... he will say 'ho ho ho'.
21. he knows where his nose, eyes, teeth, hair, and ears are
22. knows what the kitty and doggy say
23. is getting WAY too much stuff for christmas!
24. since our Christmas tree has went up he has not pulled any of the decorations off.. what a good boy!
25. loves to help clean. he sweeps the floor, cleans out the sink with the brush, but isnt too sure about the vacuum yet....

He's the cutest, smartest little man ever! I need to come and see you guys. He sounds like so much fun! I miss you.

awwww! i can't believe how big he's getting! and smart too! so fun the things that moms are proud of and so fun the things that our babies who aren't really babies anymore do to make us smile :) you really are an awesome mom, and parks is sooooo cute!
