the begining of my summer.. at the end of the summer

who do i think i am...i havnt posted in almost four months. i feel bad. we actually did do a lot of fun things this summer. for starters we went to vegas.....
ive been to vegas before..... but i have never went as the 'mom'. everywhere we went people stared at Parks and Quincy like they had never seen babies before....hey, maybe they hadn't.

it was completely strange either people loved Parks and Quincy or they didnt, and they usually let you know. we went down for UFC 100 and we stayed at the Mandalay Bay where the fights were being held. so in short, Chris was in heaven seeing all of the UFC fighters. i would walk around the hotel with chris saying... is that a fighter... is that a fighter. im a total poser! although, a certain fighter by the name of JON 'BONES' JONES did raise my attention. HA. he hasnt been fighting long enough to have cauliflower ear..ha

here is a little story about one of the many baby haters in vegas....
right when we got to vegas the boys were waiting in line to get the rental cars and me and amanda raey were standing off to the side. Parks had been totally out of his element sleeping in a hotel the night before and traveling on a plane, so to say the least he was a little cranky. Since he had been cooped up all day i was letting him crawl on the floor. after a while his leg (he only crawls with one leg) and feet were SO dirty i could not stand it, so i picked him up. Well, let me tell you the kid through a fit........SO, are you still with me..........................while this was going on i thought that he might want to go see his dad for a while. While i was taking him over to Chirs some french guy started going off about me and Parks. in short he was saying i didnt know what i was doing and that i needed to make Parks stop crying( which i was trying to do). So this guy being the rude man that he was did not realize that he was standing amidst the BAINES BROTHERS. mike was a couple of people behind him so he yelled out. 'who the hell do you think you are... he is just a baby!'. french guy....well i have been on a plane all day and i am exhausted. mike......'i dont give a damn he is just a kid'.
all i know is i am glad chris didnt hear him....he is.. well, just slightly protective i guess you could say.

let me tell you there is never a dull moment when you are a vacation with 4 baines brothers..















Who wouldn't love this child! well, i guess it does make it easier when and if he is asleep.
i cant forget all the baby lovers in vegas, there were lots of people that came up to meet Parks and Quincy. the boys always wanted to have a baby with them cause all the fighters loved the babies suprisingly enough. they probably felt sorry for them..ha single dads and all.
