the list....

Chris is officially 27 years young!

Classic laundry basket picture.

my beautiful boy. 8 months old.
Quincy Lou. so darling.

are you loving the warm weather or what!!! i sure am. the last few days have been so nice. i have been outside on a few walks with Parks. he absaloutly loves his walks. at the top of stroller there is a flap that you can pull back so that you can see your baby. it is so funny to pull that back and see Parks soakin in his suroundings. he is as happy as can be!

May 9th was Chris' birthday. he is 27. can you believe that! i used to think 27 was nearly dead. somedays i fell nearly dead, but i a sure you i am far from it! For our birthdays this year we decided to buy some bikes and a chariot (or something like it). we have decided we need to invest in more things that we like to do as a family. sometimes i hound him that we dont have anything that we do together that is unique to us... but then he reminded me of some really quirky things. this is more for my benifit... so now would be a good time to tune out, if you know what i mean.
okay, here is the story.
me and chris went on a walk with parks. i think it was a sunday. for some reason i was in a weird kinda mood, and i started to tell him that we have nothing in common. i told him that we dont have anything that we do together.
SIDE NOTE: i had just been to a wedding with chris and for the wedding cake they had an icecream cake. the MC said that ice cream cake was their FAVORITE cake and they just LOVED eating it together. so i turned to chris and said ... do we have anything that is our FAVORITE or that we have in common. he said.......we both have a beating heart??!?!?!?)

okay, so back to walking. we are walking...quite slowly actually becasue chris got a cramp...ha
we didn't get in an argument we..or i just couldn't get passed that fact we didn't jump through fire rings or go skydiving on a regular basis.
SO later on that night chris was scribbling away on a piece of paper. so i asked him what he was doing. he told me he was writing a list of things he needed to do on our house. so i didn't think too much of it. the next day he handed me a paper and said....these are just SOME of the things we have in common, and walked away.
this is his list.....

You guys are so stinkin cute! I love that you have conversations like that...just like Jared and I. The list was amazing! He did a great job and what a nice little reminder. Biking and walks are so fun....we just got a chariott thingy that's a double and stick both girlies in there. It's so fun.

oh my.....that is the cutest little post! chris is so thoughtful and how true - so much more in common than you thought :) isn't it aggravating how husbands are down to earth, logical, and right so darned much of the time!
